Dellene and Ruby — mother and daughter, owners of Val Amour

Mother & Daughter

A legacy, shared.

Dellene Jensen pioneered her craft in Healesville more than three decades ago, building a salon — and a community — defined by warmth, artistry, and care. She still stands behind the chair today, welcoming generations of clients who feel completely at home in the Yarra Valley studio she created.

Her daughter, Ruby Taite, apprenticed under Dellene before stepping into her own chapter — opening her boutique salon in Ferny Hills, Brisbane, where she brings the same considered approach to a new community.

Now, mother and daughter are partnering interstate once again under the VAL AMOÚR name — two locations, one philosophy, and a quiet legacy still being written together.
